The Split Nightlife Scene
Split's nightlife runs inside two distinct zones. The Riva promenade and the alleys inside Diocletian's Palace handle the first half of the night: outdoor bars, wine and Karlovacko beer, tables that stay out until midnight. The second half moves to Bacvice beach, ten minutes south, where the clubs sit directly on the sand and stay open until 4am or later in summer.
What you'll pay
Bar drinks inside the Palace run 25 to 40 HRK for a beer, 50 to 70 HRK for cocktails. Club entry at Bacvice venues runs 50 to 100 HRK on Fridays and Saturdays; some nights are free before midnight. A full evening from 9pm including three bar stops and club entry lands at 200 to 350 HRK, roughly €26 to €46. Prices verified April 2026.
Best nights to go
Saturday from June to September. The Bacvice clubs fill to capacity and the beach itself becomes part of the social space between venues. Outside high season, Friday edges ahead: the Palace bars are quieter, the crowd is more local, and the clubs do not charge peak-season door prices. Avoid Sunday: most venues close by 1am.
