Pub Crawls in Ibiza

Ibiza has two nightlife economies and they do not overlap. San Antonio's West End is the pub crawl territory: £10 shots, bar games, and groups working through the strip before midnight. The mega-clubs on the other side of the island, Ushuaia on Playa d'en Bossa, Amnesia on the road to Sant Rafael, run from midnight and charge €60 entry as a starting point.

San Antonio's West End is a single road of UK-themed bars that exists almost entirely for organised crawls and hostel groups. It is efficient and unapologetically aimed at the 18-to-25 market. Crawls that start here typically move through four or five West End bars with included shots before transferring to a club or ending on the strip. Playa d'en Bossa is a different proposition: longer taxi ride from San Antonio, higher entry prices, and a crowd that has come specifically for the headline acts. The crawl format only gets you to the door of the big clubs; what happens inside is a separate budget entirely.

The Ibiza Nightlife Scene

San Antonio's West End concentrates the backpacker and package-holiday crowd into about 400 metres of bars. Playa d'en Bossa, 12 kilometres away on the south-east coast, is where the main clubs sit: Ushuaia, Hi Ibiza, and Bora Bora line the beach road. The circuit between them requires a transfer, and that transfer is where most crawl formats end. The two areas are genuinely different in crowd, cost, and format.

What you'll pay

West End bar drinks cost €5 to €8. Club entry on Playa d'en Bossa starts at €40 and rises to €80 for premium nights. Ibiza Town's smaller clubs charge €15 to €25. Pre-drinks from supermarkets in San Antonio save significantly: Lidl near the port sells beers for under €2 and is used heavily by hostel guests before crawls. Prices verified April 2026.

Best nights to go

Thursday through Saturday runs at full capacity from June to September. Mondays at Amnesia are a specific institution. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are meaningfully quieter even in peak season, with some West End bars running reduced hours. The season-opening and season-closing weekends in May and late September attract concentrated crowds.

What You Will Pay

Pub crawl tickets in San Antonio run €10 to €20, typically including three to four bar stops with shots or a drink included at each. West End bar entry is free; drinks cost €5 to €8. Club entry at Ushuaia or Hi Ibiza on Playa d'en Bossa is €40 to €80 depending on the night and the lineup. Drinks inside the mega-clubs run €14 to €18 for a standard. A crawl-plus-club night realistically costs €80 to €150 once entry and drinks are included. San Antonio itself runs cheaper: budget €30 to €50 for a full night without going to the big clubs. Prices verified April 2026.

Best Night to Go

Ibiza's season runs May to October; outside those months, almost everything is closed. June to September is peak, with Thursdays through Sundays at full volume. Ushuaia runs outdoor shows from 4pm, which means Thursday and Friday afternoons attract serious crowds before the evening even starts. Monday is foam party territory at Amnesia. The closing parties in late September and early October are a specific event, organised around the end of each club's season, worth knowing about if your visit coincides.
