Pub Crawls in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is not naturally a pub crawl city. The Strip clubs have their own entry and pricing systems, and organised crawls here are largely a way to pre-load and skip queues rather than explore a neighbourhood. What they do well: Fremont Street crawls, which cover the older downtown blocks and cover more ground per dollar than anything on the Strip.
The two circuits in Las Vegas are the Strip and Fremont Street. Strip crawls start at casinos near the Venetian or Caesars area, typically include shots and discounted entry at two or three hotel clubs. They make economic sense if the VIP queue-skip at a club like Omnia or XS is included in the ticket: individual entry at those venues runs $40 to $80 on a good night. Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas is louder, cheaper, and less polished. Bars like Beauty Bar and Insert Coins are under $10 entry; the Fremont Street Experience itself is free. Crawls operating in the downtown area cover more venues per dollar and suit a backpacker budget better than the Strip. The two circuits are 5 kilometres apart and do not overlap.
The Las Vegas Nightlife Scene
The Strip runs roughly 7 kilometres down Las Vegas Boulevard and concentrates most of the hotel clubs: Omnia at Caesars, XS at the Wynn, Marquee at The Cosmopolitan. Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, 5 kilometres north, is where the older casino hotels sit and where bar cover charges are genuinely affordable. The two areas require a taxi or rideshare to move between.
What you'll pay
Fremont Street bar entry costs $5 to $10. Strip club entry runs $40 to $80 depending on the night and the act. Casino bar beers on the Strip are $10 to $14; casino cocktails are $16 to $22. Beer at downtown bars costs $6 to $8. Strip taxis from Fremont to the main casino cluster cost $15 to $20. Rideshare from the Strip back to hostels near downtown runs $10 to $15. Prices verified April 2026.
Best nights to go
Friday and Saturday nights are full capacity across both areas. Thursdays on the Strip have shorter club queues and comparable atmosphere. New Year's Eve is the most expensive night of the year: club tickets go to $200 or above and entry queues form before 8pm. February is the quietest month, with noticeably lower entry prices and better availability at premium venues.

What You Will Pay
Fremont Street crawl tickets run $20 to $35 and cover three to four venues with shots or a drink included. Strip casino bars charge $10 to $14 for a domestic beer; cocktails run $16 to $22. Las Vegas free-drink casino comps while gambling are real but unpredictable. Best Night to Go
Thursday through Saturday are operationally the strongest nights. New Year's Eve and Fourth of July push prices up significantly across all venues. Mid-week Monday and Tuesday nights on the Strip are notably quieter and some club promoters offer better deals on those nights for a smaller crowd. Fremont Street is consistent year-round; the outdoor venue works in heat as long as the misting system is running.
