Monti

Monti is the trendy neighbourhood between Termini and the Colosseum. It’s quieter than Testaccio or San Lorenzo, but it has some of the best wine bars in the city. Via del Boschetto is the place to go for aperitivo: €5 gets you a drink and a plate of snacks. It’s a good spot for a chilled evening before heading to a club.
