Ao Nang Beach Road

The main strip for nightlife in Krabi. Bars, hostels, and street food stalls line the road, with the beach on one side and limestone cliffs on the other. Most pub crawls start here, and the party spills onto the sand after midnight. It’s touristy, but it’s where you’ll meet the most people.

Railay Beach

Only reachable by boat, Railay feels like a secret paradise. The nightlife is low-key but fun. think beach bars, reggae vibes, and cliffside clubs. Blanco Hideout is the main draw, but the whole beach comes alive after dark. Stay overnight if you can; the last boat back to Ao Nang leaves at 1 AM.

Klong Muang

A quieter alternative to Ao Nang, about 20 minutes north by tuk-tuk. The beach is cleaner, and the bars are more relaxed. It’s where locals go to escape the crowds, but there are still a few hostels and beachfront parties. The Slumber Pool Party happens here every Sunday.

This isn’t just a pool party. it’s a full-day event. Starts at 2 PM with DJs, fire shows, and unlimited drinks for 800 THB. The crowd is a mix of backpackers and Thai twenty-somethings, and the vibe stays electric until sunset. Get there early if you want a sunbed; they sell out by 3 PM.

A backpacker institution on Ao Nang Beach Road. Happy hour runs from 6–9 PM, with beers for 60 THB and buckets for 180 THB. The bar staff remember your name by the second round, and the dance floor fills up by 11 PM. Live fire shows start at 9:30 PM most nights.

Tucked behind Ao Nang Landmark Night Market, Tiger Bar is where pub crawls end up. The crowd is rowdy, the drinks are strong, and the bar tab system means you can run up a bill without realising. Open until 3 AM, but the best time to go is after midnight when the pub crawl crowd arrives.

A rooftop bar with views over Ao Nang Beach. Cocktails cost 180 THB, but the happy hour (5–7 PM) knocks them down to 120 THB. The crowd is older than the beach bars, and the music leans toward house and chill-out. Great for sunset, but it gets busy. arrive by 6 PM for a seat.

Starts at Nomads Hostel at 8 PM every Thursday and Saturday. The crawl visits four bars, including Slinky and Tiger, with free shots and a bar tab system. Tickets cost 400 THB and include a free t-shirt. The group is usually 20–30 people, mostly solo travellers.
