White Beach Station 2 is the Philippines' most social stretch of sand, with beach bars, fire shows, and cliff jump parties running nightly through the dry season.
White Beach on Boracay's west coast is 4km of fine white sand divided into three stations. Station 2 in the middle is where the majority of the island's nightlife operates, with beach bars, clubs, and fire dancers running from 6pm until 3am or 4am on busy nights. The beach is pedestrianised from the sand to the back road, meaning the bar terraces open directly onto the sand. This physical setup — beachfront tables at every bar, open-air dancefloors, and fire shows visible from 200 metres — makes it a more sociable arrangement than most beach destinations in Southeast Asia.
Cocomangas on Station 2 is the oldest and busiest venue on the island, known for its shooter bar and a culture of aggressive but good-natured drinking games. Epic Boracay club on Station 2 beachfront runs DJ nights Thursday through Sunday with capacity for around 800 people and entry at PHP 300–500 (approximately £4.20–£7). Sand Bar at Station 2 is the more subdued option, with tables on the sand and a sound system that stays conversation-compatible until midnight. San Miguel costs PHP 80–120; cocktails PHP 200–350. The 2018 government cleanup of the island removed several venues but the beach scene has substantially recovered.

Day-by-day breakdown
White Beach faces west and the sunsets are genuinely spectacular from November through April when the sky is clear. Stake out a beachfront table at one of the Station 2 bars by 5:30pm. The beach itself is free; sunlounger hire costs PHP 100–200. The water at Station 2 is shallow and calm on the western side — genuinely swimmable until the light goes, which is around 6pm. Do the cliff jump at Ariel's Point (a day trip, PHP 1,800–2,200 inclusive) in the morning before beach bars become the priority.
Fire dancers work the beach between the bars from around 8pm, performing for tips. Cocomangas is at its most chaotic from 10pm onwards — the shooter bar system involves buying a card for PHP 500 and working through 15 shots of varying strength. Epic Boracay opens at 10pm and is the island's best production club; go on a Friday or Saturday for the biggest DJ nights. The beach in front of Station 2 stays navigable until around 2am when the crowd thins. Grab a tuk-tuk (PHP 80–150) back to guesthouses at Stations 1 or 3 when you are done.
