Slovakia's biggest pop and rock festival brings Robbie Williams, Post Malone and OneRepublic to Vajnory airfield on the edge of Bratislava for three nights in August.
Lovestream Festival takes place at Old Airport Vajnory, a former airfield in the north-east of Bratislava, roughly 12km from the old town. The 2026 edition runs 7–9 August with Robbie Williams, OneRepublic, and Post Malone among the confirmed headliners. The site is flat and open, with multiple stages and a camping area. Previous editions have drawn 50,000–70,000 people over the three days, making it consistently the largest music event in Slovakia.
Bratislava's location works in its favour for festival-goers: it is an hour from Vienna by train (around €12 on the REX service from Wien Hauptbahnhof) and two and a half hours from Budapest. Many people base themselves in Bratislava's old town and commute to the site each evening, which keeps accommodation costs down and gives access to the city's castle district and riverside bar scene. The old town hostel cluster — around Obchodná Street and near Hviezdoslavovo Square — is well-served by buses toward the festival site. Vajnory is also reachable by taxi for around €15–20 from the centre.

Day-by-day breakdown
The festival gates open at 3pm. Use the morning in the old town: Bratislava Castle gives good views over the Danube and into Austria, and the walk back down through the backstreets takes 40 minutes. Obchodná Street has cheap lunch options from €4–€7. The old town is compact enough to see the main sights in half a day.
The main programme builds from around 5pm on the secondary stages. Headliners on the main stage typically start at 8:30pm and close at midnight or slightly after. Beer on site costs €4–€6. Food village includes Slovak street food: langoš (fried dough with toppings), grilled sausages, and halušky (potato dumplings). The airfield site is entirely flat, which makes navigation easy and crowds manageable.
Taxis from Vajnory to the old town run until late and cost €15–€20. The last public bus back is around midnight on festival nights — check the route 68 timetable before you go. On-site camping is the alternative: three-night passes include the camping area. The campsite has shower facilities that work better on the first day than the third.
The REX train from Bratislava Hlavná Stanica to Wien Hauptbahnhof takes 60 minutes and costs €12 each way. A day in Vienna between festival days is completely practical. The Prater park, Naschmarkt, and the MuseumsQuartier are all walkable from Wien Hauptbahnhof.
