Three days of rock, pop, and electronic headliners in Parque Bicentenario: South America's leading international festival franchise comes to Santiago each March.
Lollapalooza Chile is the Latin American anchor of the Lollapalooza franchise, running since 2011 in Parque Bicentenario in the Vitacura district of Santiago. The festival draws 80,000–90,000 people per day across three days with a lineup that combines international rock, pop, and electronic headliners with Latin and Chilean acts. The 2025 edition featured Tyler the Creator and Olivia Rodrigo as co-headliners; the 2026 lineup announcement typically lands in December or January. The site is compact by international festival standards: all stages are within a 10-minute walk of each other, making it possible to move between headliners mid-set without missing significant time.
March in Santiago is autumn, which means temperatures of 20–27°C during the day and around 14°C at night: arguably the best weather conditions for an outdoor festival in the Southern Hemisphere. The Vitacura district is in Santiago's wealthier east side, 20 minutes by Metro from the Bellavista neighbourhood (the backpacker and nightlife hub in Barrio Recoleta). The Santiago Metro's Line 1 connects central Barrio Lastarria and the city centre to the festival area efficiently: the festival's closest station is Tobalaba on Lines 1 and 4.

Day-by-day breakdown
The Friday programme at Lollapalooza Chile traditionally carries the strongest Latin American headliner: a reggaeton, cumbia, or Latin pop act with mass appeal in the local market. This is a different proposition from the international rock/pop days. Crowd is predominantly Chilean and the atmosphere is distinctly local. Gates open at noon.
Saturday carries the most high-profile international rock or alternative booking. The main stage crowd peaks at around 80,000 by 9pm. The electronic stage (Perry's) runs DJs through the afternoon and evening on a parallel schedule. Food traders in the Lollapizza area serve Chilean staples (completo hot dogs, empanadas) alongside international options.
Sunday typically headlines with an international pop or hip-hop act. The crowd is youngest and most diverse on Sunday. Closing sets run until 11pm. After the festival, the bars along Avenida Pío Nono in Bellavista and the clubs on Avenida del Cerro in Barrio Italia are the natural continuation.
