Lima's electronic music festival was a mainstay of the South American circuit — but the 2026 edition has been cancelled; here is what the city's nightlife offers instead.
DGTL Lima announced that the 2026 edition will not take place, citing a combination of circumstances that made organising the event impractical. DGTL Lima had been a fixture of South America's electronic music calendar since its first edition, bringing the Amsterdam-based brand's production values to the Peruvian capital. The cancellation leaves a gap in Lima's festival calendar for 2026.
Lima's club and electronic music scene operates independently of the DGTL brand, however. The Barranco neighbourhood — Lima's historic bohemian district on the Pacific cliffs — has the highest concentration of credible live music venues and clubs on the continent's west coast. Dédalo Arte y Artesanía on Paseo Sáenz Peña hosts regular electronic nights. Ayahuasca restaurant-bar on San Martín 130 is Barranco's landmark venue for live music in a converted Republican mansion. The Miraflores district runs its own club circuit along Av. José Larco and the streets near Parque Kennedy. Entry to most venues costs PEN 50–150 (approximately £10–£30). Barranco is a 20-minute taxi from Miraflores and 40 minutes from the historic centre.

Day-by-day breakdown
Miraflores sits on cliffs above the Pacific. The Parque del Amor and the Malecón coastal walkway from Larcomar to Parque Kennedy are free to walk and give views of the Pacific and, on clear days (rare in Lima's grey winter), the coastline. The Larco Museum at Av. Bolívar 1515 in Pueblo Libre has the world's largest collection of pre-Columbian gold and ceramics: entry PEN 45 (approximately £9).
Barranco's main street (Av. Pedro de Osma) and the streets around the Plaza Municipal have independent galleries, ceramics shops, and cafe terraces. The Puente de los Suspiros (Bridge of Sighs) is a 19th-century wooden footbridge that crosses a barranco (ravine) behind the church — a 10-minute walk from the plaza. Lúcuma ice cream from a local heladería: PEN 5–8 per scoop.
The Barranco bar strip on Av. Grau and the surrounding streets starts filling from 9pm. La Noche de Barranco on Bolognesi 307 is the neighbourhood's main live music venue: shows most nights from 10pm, cover charge PEN 30–60. Dédalo and the surrounding venues run electronic and DJ nights from Thursday to Saturday. Bars along Av. Pedro de Osma open from 7pm.
Miraflores clubs on Av. José Larco and the side streets of Av. Benavides run from midnight to 5am or 6am on weekends. Gótica on Av. La Paz 646 is the city's best-known mainstream club for electronic. Taxis between Barranco and Miraflores cost PEN 15–25 (approximately £3–£5). Use InDriver or Cabify rather than street hailing after midnight.
